Frida Kahlo "A life for images"

The exhibition "Frida Kahlo a life in pictures" which includes about 80 photographs of Frida Kahlo, has been inaugurated on May 31th, 2014, in Barolo, in the"Aula Picta" near the Church of the former confraternity of Sant' Agostino.
All these photographs bring out some moments of the existence of Frida between events that influenced not only her painting but also his way of understanding life. Among torments and passions which have gone beyond art history to enter into the myth.
The exhibition is a journey of her private and public life moments where you can discover the tormented and passionate life of one of the greatest stars of the twentieth century.
A special section will be devoted to photos of the father of Frida Kahlo and with some documents and images of Mexican history with the characters who have gone through in Frida's life as Diego Rivera, Leon Trotsky, André Breton and many other protagonists of the history and culture of our time.
